The YPC Case Competition will rotate campuses each year once public health guidelines clear large in-person events. This year will be hosted virtually!

What is the Yale-Princeton-Columbia (YPC) Case Competition?

The Yale-Princeton-Columbia Case Competition is an annual event hosted by the Yale Graduate Consulting Club (YGCC), Princeton University Graduate Consulting Club (PUGCC), and Columbia Graduate Consulting Club (CGCC). It provides a valuable opportunity to advanced degree candidates, Master’s students, and undergraduates to gain experience in a consulting career.

What benefits can you gain from participating in the YPC Case Competition?

Gain exposure to the world of consulting by working in a team of 4-5 people to solve a real-life case prompt. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are interested in a consulting career: it will allow you to sample consulting and better develop your skills, with direct feedback from professional consultants. This event will have numerous benefits for your career development, including exclusive networking opportunities with professional consultants, firm recruiters, and other candidates from top schools. Earn valuable insight into applying with an offer-holder panel and professional consultant Q&A session. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winning teams!

Who is eligible to apply for the YPC Case Competition?

Ph.D. students, post-docs, M.D. and J.D. students, and non-MBA Master's students at any institution, as well as those who have graduated from those programs within the last 1-3 years. A limit of one undergraduate or MBA student in a team of 4-5 people is allowed. No prior experience is required! We welcome participants from all institutions.
